The simple design and versatile features of the Bind-Fast 5 make it the most economical and productive binding system available today. It is able to produce up to 150 perfect-bound books per hour or 72,000 padded sheets per hour. Unlike traditional binding methods, which can be labor intensive, the Bind-Fast 5 is quick and simple to operate and gives even the smallest operation the ability to create perfect bound books. The Bind-Fast 5 also performs padding (applies adhesive to one edge for tear-off pads). The Bind-Fast 5 will produce a perfect bound book with a sharp, square and lasting bind in less than 20 seconds. Features such as a heated jog plate and a three-fan cooling system for padding applications enhance quality and production.

- The use of separator plates allows up to six reports to be bound in one pass.
- Convenient adhesive thickness control knob allows for quick adjustment for padding, report binding, or perfect binding.
- Heats in approximately 12 minutes and is ready to use at 335°.
