The Rotary Cutter is so easy to use and so accurate & exact. I make Greeting Cards and it is just perfect. My son is in engineering & graphic work and I'm giving him a Model 550 for his birthday.

Have had for 4 years, use maybe 8 times a year to cut magnetic material for car door magnetic decals. Occasionally the cut wheel will flip onto the surface of the board, and ruin the material. Today, it kept doing that, and we discovered that the wheel had delaminated from the rubber guide wheel, so we need an entire new cut wheel. Apparently this is not uncommon.
Pros: When it works, it cuts great...very clean cuts
Cons: Cut wheel is not stable on thicker materials |
