The Destroyit 4005 strip-cut paper shredder is very easy to use and has a Safety Protection System (SPS) that includes a transparent safety shield in the feed opening, color-coded and back lit controls indicating the status of the shredder, an automatic stop when the back is full or the door is open and an automatic reverse function. This paper shredder is also protected against overheating.

The Destroyit 4005 goes into an energy-saving sleep mode after the shredder has been inactive for over an hour. A sensor detects paper as it enters the shredder, automatically shredding it. A 16-inch wide throat accepts most sizes of paper. A 59-gallon bin means you will have to change the bag less often.
