The Standard Docufold is a folding machine factory on wheels, designed to handle some of the toughest paper folding projects out there. It uses an air-feed suction system to quickly pull in paper, including glossy and coated sheets. It can also handle light weight bonds to card stock. Thanks to automatic fold positioning and simple set-up, the DocuFold is perfect for use in locations where folding needs continually change.
A sensor, located in the feed tray, is designed to automatically measure the paper length and adjust the folding plates accordingly. The folding plates can be quickly set up to create six popular folds including the letter fold, half fold, double parallel fold, engineering fold, Z-fold and gate fold. A total of 6 programmable memory positions let you set up custom folds. The top loading feed tray requires no pre-fanning of paper, ensuring seamless operation.
Not only can the Standard Docufold handle glossy and coated paper, it can also handle statically-charge paper from digital printers. The DocuFold’s register table aligns the paper, keeping things accurate and square. Maintenance is minimal.
The Standard Docufold is also extremely fast and ideal for commercial / industrial folding use. It can feed sheets at up to 21,900 sheets per hour.
