The Destroyit 3803 paper shredder is designed for departmental use. It has hardened-steel cutting blades that can handle staples, paper clips and credit cards. The strip cut version of this shredder can even shred CDs and DVDs. A 16-inch throat is capable of shredding most sizes of paper. An “Easy Switch” control element uses color codes and backlit symbols to indicate operational status. The motor run quiet and is double protected against overheating. A pull-out bag frame mechanism is mounted on rollers for easy replacement of disposable bags. Casters on the bottom of the frame make it easy to transport this shredder from one area to another.
The Destroyit 3803 features an “OSS” (Operator Safety System) package. This package includes an electronically controlled transparent safety shield in the feed opening. The shredder will automatically stop when the shred bag is full or when the cabinet door is open. It also has an automatic stop and reverse in case of a paper jam.
