The Formax FD 540 and FD 550 series of high-speed bursters get the job done fast and efficient. These bursters (Formax FD 546, FD 548, FD 550 & FD 552) are some of the most reliable document bursters available today. These bursters are fast, operating at speeds of up to 200 feet per minute, and can handle a wide range of paper sizes (2 3/8” to 16” wide and 2 ¾” to 12” long). All four versions of this burster feature side slitters. The FD 546 and FD 548 are “cut sheet” bursters with a friction feed system where the FD 550 and FD 552 are continuous form bursters with tractor feed systems.
