Questions? Check Out Our Folding Guide.
 |
The speed a paper folder’s motor is capable of running is the folder’s operating speed. A paper folder with an operating speed of 11,000 sheets per hour means the folder can fold a stack of 700 sheets in approximately 4 minutes.
It is not advisable to continually operate a paper folder, or any machinery, at its maximum operating speed for long stretches of time. Running machinery excessively at maximum speeds will increase wear or damage the parts and will reduce the overall lifespan of the machine. The duty cycle of a paper folder is the suggested volume that a paper folder should fold per day or hour. Check the owner’s manual, or speak with a sales associate to determine your paper folder’s duty cycle.
