The new Formax FD-6402-4 folder inserter is designed to quickly and efficiently fold and insert paper into envelopes. The FD6402 Standard 4 has four standard feeders where the FD 6402 Special 4 has two standard feeders and two special feeders capable of handling glossy paper. Both folder inserters are capable of folding documents up to 14-inches long. This includes documents such as checks, invoices, newsletters and more. The motor on the FD-6402-4 runs at a speed of up to 4,000 pieces per hour. The hopper can hold up to 325 sheets. An Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) function is available as a option.
The color touch screen is easy to navigate and operate. Settings such as fold length, fold type, envelope size, paper size and more are adjusted automatically. - The Paper Folder / Inserter has fold types: C, V, Z and Double Parallel.
- The optional OMR. capability allows for the insertion of multiple page documents automatically. OMR determines which documents go together into each envelope, eliminating the tedious task of manually collating and inserting.
