Did you know that many of the products we sell ship right out of our own warehouse? This is not usually the case in our industry. The majority of online retailers do not have their own warehouse and oftentimes run their entire business out of rented office space. Because we have our own warehouse, building and customers service staff, we have control over your order and can make sure you get it in a timely manner. This also means that we have products in stock, where other retailers often rely on a third person's warehouse and are often unreliable.

We also have our own service department that is able to repair all the machines we sell. We not only can help you with your products now, but we will be around to help you in the future. ABC Office strives to be the best source for online office equipment.

FEATURED PRODUCTS OF THE MONTH

----EB-19 Combination Binding Machine----

ABC Office has purchased pallets of EB-19 combination binding machines (http://www.abcoffice.com/eb19.htm) that are currently taking up space in our warehouse. Because we have purchased these binding machines in quantity, we can offer you a significant discount. The EB-19 combination binding machine can bind books using either plastic combs (http://www.abcoffice.com/comb_s.htm) or metal double- loop wire (http://www.abcoffice.com/wire_s.htm). The EB-19 is great for use at home or in the office. It is designed for low-volume use. At only $99, this binding machine is a steal.

ASK DAVE QUESTIONS

Dear Dave:
I have seen your "48-hour ship-or-notify guarantee" on your site for a while. What exactly does that mean? I really don't know much about it, but would like to take advantage of it if I can.
Thank you,
Don

Don,
The 48-hour ship-or-notify guarantee is a promise on our part that your order will be shipped within 48 hours, or if delayed, we will notify you of its status. We want to make sure you know what is going on with your order. We want to make the online ordering process as easy for you as possible. Unfortunately, as with any company, some products may be delayed. We will let you know when this happens. If you are not notified regarding the status of your order, we will reimburse you for the shipping.

Dear Dave:
I was recently looking at your bursters and was wondering how complicated it is to set one of those up. Our accounting department uses perforated forms paper to print checks. I thought a burster might be nice for tearing those checks apart. I am not the most mechanically inclined person. Is this something I could do?
Thanks,
Angel

Angel,
Bursters vary in difficulty and ease of use. I would estimate about 15 to 20 minutes to get a burster set up for someone who has never used one before. I was remarkably surprised how easy it was to set up the first time I used a burster. There really isn't much involved in getting things up and going.

I have found the Duplo brand of bursters to be the easiest to set up. They are more compact, but work just as good if not better than other comparable bursters. I recently set up the V-350 burster from Duplo (http://www.abcoffice.com/burv350.htm) and recorded a video demo. You can go here to see the burster be set up and used: http://www.abcoffice.com/demos/broadband/abburv350.wmv. You will need a broadband connection to see the demo. The demo should give you a better idea on what all is involved in getting it to work.

Dear Dave:
I noticed that you have an order tracking login on your Web site. How do I use it and what information does it give me?
Thanks,
Christina

Christina,
You can access the order tracking system by going here: https://www.abcoffice.com/ordertracking/. Once you have clicked on the screen, it will ask you for your e-mail address and password. The e-mail address is the one you used when you placed your order. By default the password is the customer number you were given when you placed your order. It can be found on your invoice (https://www.abcoffice.com/ordertracking/obtainpass.php).

Once you log into the system, you will have the ability to change your password. Keep track of the login and password for future use. If you are having trouble, or have forgotten your password, you can have a customer service representative reset your password or give you additional instructions. You can also reset your password online (https://www.abcoffice.com/ordertracking/passwerd.php).

Once in the system, you will be able to check on the status of your order. You will be able to see if it has shipped and obtain a tracking number. You will also be able to look up past invoices, print them out and re-order supplies and products. If you need to re-order a product and are not sure what you got, log into the system and re-order the exact same product right then and there.

In order to make sure you continue to receive the Ask Dave newsletter, please be sure to contact your e-mail service provider and have them put us on their white list. With the increase of junk mail, many e-mail service providers are making it more difficult to send e-mails to customers. Putting us on a white list will ensure that you will continue to receive the best office equipment news and advice available.

We are continually looking for suggestions on topics you would like to read about for future newsletters. We love hearing from you and will take all your suggestions seriously. If you don't have any topic suggestions, ask us a question. We are industry experts, and are happy to answer all your inquiries.
