I was looking at your CR-20 corner rounder, but it looks like it may be too small. I also need to cut about an inch stack of paper per week. Will this work or would you recommend another model? ANSWER: The CR-20 is an effective corner rounder and can handle up to a 1/2-inch stack of paper. If you need to cut the corners off of an inch stack of paper, simply split the stack in two and work with two separate stacks. The base of the CR-20 is 5 x 10 1/2-inches. Although you could probably use the CR-20 for the legal-size paper, I would recommend moving up to the CR-50B which has a 9 x 18-inch base. It will make cutting larger paper easier. Also remember that both the CR-20 and CR-50B corner rounders are available with multiple size cutting dies, ranging from 1/8-inch up to 1/2-inch in diameter. ---- QUESTION: I was looking at your new PaperPro 2000 stapler and it claims to be able to punch up to 60 sheets of paper with only two fingers. Is this true or is it just marketing hype? ANSWER: I can tell you from personal experience that the PaperPro 2000 stapler really does staple 60 sheets of paper with only two fingers. It utilizes a special spring-loaded design that requires little manual labor. It is also very light and is not much bigger than a traditional stapler. The PaperPro 1000 is the model just below the PaperPro 2000. It can staple up to 20 sheets of paper and is the same size as a traditional stapler. It staples 20 sheets of paper and requires hardly any force at all. --- QUESTION: I am in need of a time clock for my business of about 30 employees. I need something reasonably priced, but that will last my company many years. What would you recommend? ANSWER: There are many time clocks to choose from. If you are looking for a traditional punch-card style time clock, then I would recommend the Acroprint Model 125 or the Acroprint model 150. The Model 125 uses a button to activate the punch where the Model 150 has a micro switch that activates the print head. Both of these units have been around for years. You have probably seen one of these being used at a local business. If you are looking for something more non-traditional, you may want to consider using software that allows your employees to sign in from a computer. We have several suites of software designed to let employees sign in from a single computer or from a network. The software is designed to eliminate tampering and can even work with several second party programs such as Quickbooks. We are continually looking for suggestions on topics you would like to read about for future newsletters. We love hearing from you and will take all your suggestions seriously. If you don't have any topic suggestions, ask us a question. We are industry experts, and are happy to answer all your inquiries.
