Thursday, June 24th, 2010

Padded Oak Wood Lobby BenchesWe are proud to announce that we have just added eight new padded wooden lobby benches to our site. These benches are part of the Dakota Wave series of furniture from popular furniture manufacturer Wooden Mallet. These new benches are very nice and we expect them to be a hit with our customers.

These new wooden mallet benches are available in a variety of fabric colors, patterns and wood stains. Four of the benches feature standard fabric options and the other four feature designer fabric options.

Each bench is made with a one-inch thick solid oak frame for added stability. The seats are padded and covered in high quality fabric. You will find these new wooden lobby benches in waiting rooms, lobbies, libraries, halls, schools and more. They are low profile and easily fit up against a wall, in a corner or in the middle of a room.

One nice thing about Wooden Mallet furniture, versus the competition, is the build quality. These aren’t made from cheap pressed wood. The solid oak wood used in these benches is designed to hold up and easily last for years.

The best thing about this new line of furniture is that it is affordable, economical and cheap! Choose from a single, double, triple or quadruple bench design.

Wooden Mallet Folding Luggage Racks Now Online

Friday, June 18th, 2010

Wooden Mallet Folding Luggage RacksWooden Mallet may be one of the best-known manufacturers of quality office chairs and office furniture that we offer. We are proud to announce that we have just added several of their new folding luggage racks to our site. This includes the model LR, LR2 and LR3.

One thing I really like about Wooden Mallet is that they don’t cut corners with their furniture. Everything they make is made from solid oak wood, none of that cheap pressed wood stuff. They plan out their furniture for the long haul, where a lot of the comparable stuff out there is designed to be used for a year and then be replaced.

So where would you use a folding luggage rack? You will a lot of them in hotels, but they are also commonly found in restaurants, churches and airports. They are designed to handle most suitcases, bags and luggage. Because they fold, they can easily be stored in a closet for later use.

These are the three Wooden mallet folding luggage racks that we offer:

All three racks are available in your choice of wood stain and fabric color. You can find our entire selection of Wooden Mallet furniture here.

Introducing: The Soleus Air HumidiBreeze Misting Fan and Humidifier

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

Soleus Air HumidiBreeze Misting Fan and HumidifierSo the hot summer days are now upon us. Excessive heat is uncomfortable, irritating and can decrease productivity. Whether you are outdoors reading a book, or are in a hot stuffy office, you may be able to benefit from the new Soleus Air HumidiBreeze Misting Fan and Humidifier (Model MT1-19-32).

So here’s the breakdown on the HumidiBreeze. It basically takes water, breaks it up into small particles and blows it around. The breeze itself is cooling and for many is even relaxing. In hot conditions, it has been known to lower the ambient temperature by as much as 20 degrees.

The machine itself is able to pump out up to 19-gallons of moisture throughout the day, while only using 70 watts of electricity per hour. That’s about the same amount of electricity a standard incandescent bulb uses.

Don’t need misting air blowing in your direction? It can be used as a humidifier. If you live in the desert west like I do, a humidifier is a welcome product.

If you have ever used a misting nozzle outdoors, perhaps on a patio, you know how hard water and deposits can quickly clog up the nozzle. The HumidiBreeze uses a special non-clogging spray nozzle, which means the HumidiBreeze will be with you for years to come.

You can find the HumidiBreeze Misting Fan and Humidifier here. Do you already own one? Let me know what you think about it by posting a comment. Have a great (and possibly cool & relaxing) day!

New Portable Room and Office Air Conditioners from Soleus Air

Thursday, May 27th, 2010

Portable Air Conditioners (Office & Home) from Soleus AirAs of today we have just added four new portable air conditioning units from Soleus Air. We are pretty excited about these new additions. For many older homes and buildings, central air is simply not an option. For those who have central air, but may not want to cool an entire building, air conditioners from Soleus Air are a perfect match.

These new air conditioners utilize modern-day evaporative air cooling technology, which is very energy efficient and creates a lot less moisture condensation. Most of these new air conditioners include built-in timers and remote controls. Several of these air conditioning systems include casters, making mobility simple.

Three of the four new air conditioning units from Soleus Air double as heaters during the winter. These are ideal year-round systems for rooms, garages, homes, offices and other building structures.

These are the four new air conditioners just added to our site:

  1. Soleus Air PH1-14R-03 (KY-36) 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner and Heater
  2. Soleus Air LX-140 14,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner and Heater
  3. Soleus Air PA1-12R-32 12,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner and Heater
  4. Soleus Air PE2-09R-32 9,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner

We are pretty excited about this new addition and feel that it fits in nicely with our existing line of office products.

Introducing: David-Link Biometric Time Clocks & Recorders

Friday, May 21st, 2010

David-Link W-1288PB Biometric Time ClockWe are proud to announce the addition of 10 new David-Link time clocks to our site. This includes traditional “punch style” time clocks and some really innovative biometric time clocks. I have personally used a few of these time clocks and have to say that I am very impressed.

The time clock I tested was the Biometric David-Link W-1288PB. I have used biometric time clocks in the past, in particular the Pyramid Technologies (PTI) Time Trax Bio. While the Time Trax Bio is a nice time clock, the W-1288PB was almost too easy to use. With most finger recognition biometric time clocks, you have to slide your finger. With the W-1288PB, all you have to do is touch the scanner. I have yet to experience any misreads. David-Link says this time recorder will store up to 3,000 signatures.

The W-1288PB also has the ability to allow the operator to use a proximity card or log in using a password on the number pad. The W-1288PB can be used as a stand-alone model, logging up to 50,000 data entries, that can then be downloaded onto an included USB drive. You also have the option to connect the time clock to a network or directly to a computer. The clock includes its own time management software. You can check out the new David-Link W-1288PB biometric time clock here.

You will find our entire selection of 10 new David-Link time clocks and recorders here.

Introducing: New Wooden Oak Fire Extinguisher Cabinets

Tuesday, May 4th, 2010

Wooden Mallet Oak Fire Extinguisher CabinetsI don’t know about you, but to me a bright red fire extinguisher clashes with existing furniture. Unless your favorite color is red, they are pretty unsightly. I understand that they are necessary and required by law. Currently most people either have them bolted to the wall, using a metal strap, or in an aluminum cabinet hanging on the wall.

There is now another option when it comes to safely hanging fire extinguishers on the wall while keeping them accessible and complying with safety code. This new alternative is Wooden Mallet’s fire extinguisher cabinets. These wooden oak cabinets are clearly marked, available in multiple wood stains and fit in nicely with existing furniture.

These new cabinets come with a wooden cabinet door, marked Fire Extinguisher, or with a clear acrylic window. These wooden extinguisher cabinets come in a 5-pound and a 10-pound design, depending on how heavy the extinguisher is. All wall-mounting hardware is included.

You can view these new wooden oak fire extinguisher cabinets here.

Introducing: The Martin Yale GC210 Gutter Cut Business Card Cutter

Friday, April 30th, 2010

Matin Yale GC210 Business Card CutterWe recently added the Martin Yale GC210 gutter cut business card cutter to our site. This cutter is the replacement to the Intimus GC208. The GC208 was very popular and we expect the GC210 to be equally popular with our customers. This is because the Martin Yale GC210 is extremely well built. Here are a few of its features.

  • It can cut full-bleed business card templates.
  • It has durable hardened-steel blades that are self sharpening. No more dull blades!
  • It cuts up to 360 cards per minute.
  • It includes a CD with business card templates.

These are just a few of the features. One of my favorite features of the GC210 is the included waste bin that holds cut paper particles. If you have ever used a business card cutter, you know how much paper mess they can make.

We are pretty excited about this addition. You can read more about the Martin Yale GC210 business card cutter by going here.

High Definition Printing – Introducing The New Fargo HDP5000

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

New Fargo HDP5000 ID Card PrinterWe just recently added the Fargo HDP5000 id card printer to our site a few days ago. While most ID card printers operate in a similar way, the HDP5000 does a few things that really separate itself apart from the competition. Here are a few things I have noticed.

First off, this printer claims to produce high definition printing. What does this mean? Well, apart from the marketing lingo, it means this printer can create some of the most realistic and crisp images available in digital ID card printing today. In technical terms, this printer can print up to 16.7 million colors at 256 shades per pixel.

Fargo HD5000 Printing ProcessThis printer prints the image, text and other data onto a layer that is then fuzed to the target card’s surface. Why is this important? Because it means the Fargo HDP5000 can print on uneven surfaces, such as cards with embedded electronics. The technical jargon for this is HDP® dye-sublimation / resin thermal transfer.

The Fargo HDP5000 is available in several variations, depending on the type of card you will be printing and the quantity you will be printing. This printer is available in a single and double-sided design and available in a standard or overlaminate design. The overlaminate coating, available on the LC versions, helps to prevent image wear and extends the life of the ID card / security badge.

You can view all versions of the new Fargo HDP5000 ID card printer here.

Why Are Sircle Binding Machines So Popular?

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

Sircle Binding MachinesA few years ago, when we first started adding Sircle binding machines to our site, I would never have guessed that they would later become so popular. Sircle binding machines are in such demand that they are flying off the shelves. Why is this brand, new to the industry, so popular?

Here are a few reasons why Sircle binding machines are so popular:

Price – Sircle binding machines are just plain cheap. Sircle binding machines cost just a fraction of what comparable brands (like GBC) run.

Functionality – Sircle binding machines often include features such as margin depth control, selectable punching dies and more. These are features often considered luxury options with other models.

Cross Platform – Sircle book binders are often capable of binding multiple formats. This may include comb and wire or multiple wire hole patterns. Over half of Sircle’s machines have this functionality.

Quality – For the price, it is difficult to find a comparable machine of equal quality.

So there you have it, just a few reasons why our customers choose Sircle binding machines over the competition. You can find our entire line of Sircle binding machines here.
