Cassida Tiger Bill Counter Review

Are you in need of a reliable, easy-to-use and affordable bill counter? One model that you may want to consider is the Cassida Tiger bill counter. This compact little bill counter packs quite a punch and may be just what you need. This is my review.
Cassida is known for their line of bill counters. They currently offer about 10 different machines. Cassida is also known for their build quality. Cassida bill counters rarely experience technical issues.
The Cassida Tiger is one of the newest bill counters offered by Cassida. It is extremely compact, weighing in at only 8.8 pounds. This means the Cassida Tiger can be used on most desks and tables and can easily be picked up and moved.
While the Tiger doesn’t differentiate between denominations, it can give you a total number of bills counted. It includes a count, add, batch and add+badge mode. All four modes are extremely easy to set up and can be accessed by means of the Tiger’s control panel. Number totals are clearly visible on the digital display.
As mentioned earlier, Cassida is known for a great build quality. The Tiger is no exception. The Cassida Tiger features a one-piece chassis and the roller shafts are made from durable steel. This means the Cassida will be able to last for years, making it a great investment.
The Cassida comes in three different models.
- Tiger Basic (found here) – This is the basic version of the Cassida Tiger. It is capable of counting but does not have built-in counterfeit detection.
- Tiger UV (found here) – This version of the Tiger counts and has ultraviolet (UV) detection capabilities for detecting counterfeit bills.
- Tiger UV/MG (found here) – This version of the Tiger counts and has both ultraviolet (UV) and magnetic (MG) detection capabilities for detecting counterfeit bills.
One of my favorite features of this bill counter is the cover. The front of the machine actually lifts up, making the inside extremely easy to access and clean.

Overall I am very impressed with this bill counter. It is solid, accurate, doesn’t seem to jam and is very portable.
