Padding presses have been around a while and are a time-tested method of padding paper. Stacks of paper are placed in a large vice and are clamped into place. While in the padding machine, liquid glue is applied to the back of the paper by use of a brush. Once the glue has dried, the clamp is loosened and the padded paper can be cut into smaller stacks of paper. These pads of paper are great for note taking and are widely used by schools, universities, churches and other organizations.
