The unique features of this range is the extra wide 9 ½" feed width. This enables these machines to shred not only single sheets of 8 ½" x 11" paper, but also "unbursted" 9 ½" x 11" computer paper. The DAHLE 20100 shreds up to 8 sheets in one pass into 1/8" strips. Model 20112 cross-cut shreds paper into 3/32" x 1" unreadable particles. Both models feature an automatic start/stop, and, for safety reasons, will not operate when the door is open. The specially designed door allows for non-confidential waste, such as magazines or crumpled paper, to be disposed of directly into the cabinet of the shredder thus eliminating the need for a waste can. A safety flap prevents access, by the user, to all moving parts.
