What is the difference between a hot knife and a cold knife? Cold knives have one type one eleven . Hot knives are the most common. Hot knives work by using a cut and melt method. Can I remove the bind on a hot knife system once it is bound? Yes, with a debinder. Can a desktop work like a hot or cold knife? No, instead of cutting and permanently binding, the prongs in the back fold over. They can be used for debinding, altering and reused. What is the difference between Quickbind and Velobind?
