I have a staples 10 sheet Micro cut shredder works fine forward and reverse, it will not work in the auto mode. Ive cleaned the cutter and have looked in to see if there were any jambed paper. Everything looks fine. Can you recommend what to do next? I was going to try to take the head apart and see if I can locate the activation switch??

It sounds like there may be something wrong with the photocell that detects paper. I would recommend that you call our Service Department at 1-800-658-8788 x129 and see if they have any recommendations on how to fix that. Good luck!
