Top Brochure Folding Methods
The first and most popular way to create a brochure is by using a letter fold. This is often referred to as a C fold. This makes literature easy to view, while maintaining a compact layout.

The second most popular way to create a brochure is by using an accordion fold. This is often referred to as a Z fold. Much like a letter fold, an accordion fold makes brochure easy to open, easy to mail and easy to display.

The third most common fold used for making brochures is the double parallel fold. This fold has a unique look to it and creates a very compact brochure.

While most folding machines can create a letter fold or an accordion fold, not all machines can handle a double parallel fold. Most folding machines will specify the types of folds they can handle, making it easier to find the right machine.
